make a FELT TEACUP
This charming little felt teacup has a wonderful smelling surprise in the centre – a little lavender bag! You can get your lavender bag free from Joyful JAMS, just get in touch with Clare here. It would also make a perfect pin cushion for any budding seamstress.
This teacup make was inspired by our Pictures of You vignette Everything Stops for Tea. We love staying for a cuppa after a thirsty JAMS session and wanted to celebrate this great British institution, and what it means to us!

INSTRUCTIONS
Download the teacup template.
Place the arch-shaped template (this is the teacup) onto the white felt, draw around it with a pencil and then cut it out.
Using the circle template cut out one brown felt circle for the tea and one white one for the saucer.
Cut out the handle shape in white felt.
Place the white handle, facing inwards and fold the arch of the teacup over the top of it and pin in place. Either sew or glue it down the side seam to make a cup shape, remove the pins and turn it the right way out so that the handle is now on the outside.
Carefully place the cup, with the narrower end at the bottom, onto the centre of the white saucer circle and glue it in place.
Now take some stuffing and a lavender bag and push it down into the teacup. Take the brown felt circle and place it on top of the stuffing and lavender bag and sew or glue it in place to make the ‘tea’.
Squeeze to release the smell of the lavender and relax.
